Facility Membership

Alumni memberships are available annually, by semester or during the summer and can be purchased at the Eakin Student Recreation Center (ESRC) on main campus. Memberships include access to the ESRC, Health Sciences Campus Recreation Center (HSC), North Recreational Complex, and Blount Sports Complex. Birthday Party Packages

Host your child’s next birthday with fun activities for 10-20 guests at Eakin Student Recreation Center. Various packages include climbing wall, pool access and gaming options. For more information visit Reservations & Parties or call 252-328-6387.

Career Services

Counseling Services

Available to alumni up to six months after graduation. To schedule an appointment login to Handshake and select “Appointments” under the Career Center tab from the homepage. The center also offers 15-minute drop-in assistance for alumni with Career Services team members during the fall and spring semesters. Financial Wellness Services

Financial Coaching

Financial Coaching Is available to alumni and focuses on personal finance topics such as budgeting, debt management, federal student loan repayment and credit reports/scores. Schedule a financial coaching appointment.

Joyner Library

Access

Alumni and area residents can visit Joyner Library to browse physical collections and conduct research using available resources including guest wi-fi electronic databases. Learn about library available resources, policies and hours.

Borrowing Privileges

Area residents who are 18 years or older may borrow materials by registering for a library account at the circulation desk. A photo ID accompanied by a completed Borrower Agreement Form (PDF) and photo ID are required. No more than five (5) items may be borrowed at any time. All borrowing policies including late fees and recalls apply. 

NC Live 10-day Pass

ECU alumni who are North Carolina residents can continue to access academic articles, videos, ebooks and more through NC Live. Here’s how it works:

  • Follow this link to your free 10-day pass offered through ECU. This will give you instant access to library resources from anywhere.
  • After a 10-days, you’ll be directed to your nearest public library to get permanent access. Follow the directions to sign up for a free library card!
