Pirates, you made a far-reaching impact in 2026!
Throughout April 2026, 491 Pirates volunteered on 26 projects, with 16 regional chapters participating across the country.
That totaled 1,223 volunteer hours completed, an estimated economic impact of $42,540.57.

2026 Impact Stats
- University Advancement cleaned and prepared 164 pouches of Capri Sun and packed 915 bags of sweet potatoes contributing to 7,624 meals at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC
- The ECU Community donated 150 pieces of professional attire to the ECU Professionally Purple Closet
- At the College of Nursing Pirate Nurse 5K, 564.2 miles were ran/walked and $19,740 was raised for student scholarships
- The Atlanta Alumni Chapter sorted 8,109 pounds of food, providing 6,757 meals to neighbors in need
- The Charleston Alumni Chapter assembled 70 meal kits to provide to families for the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston
- The Crystal Coast Alumni Chapter collected 20 pounds of trash to help keep NC Beaches clean
- The Tampa Alumni Chapter sorted 12,201 pounds of food, providing 10,168 meals to the local community
- The Dallas Fort-Worth Chapter packaged 450 bags of pasta for meal kits, feeding families in need
- The ENC Alumni Chapter provided a meal for 21 families at the Ronald McDonald House of ENC and supported a Red Cross blood drive where donors helped save 45 lives
- The Wilmington Alumni Chapter grated 5 pounds of cheese, unloaded and sorted 1,800 pounds of food, and prepared lunch for 50 people at the Good Shepherd Center
- The New York Metro Alumni Chapter crafted 25 greeting cards for homebound individuals, helping spread kindness and brighten their day with God’s Love we Deliver
The ECU Alumni Days of Service continues to grow in reach and participation each year. These impact stats show what we already know—Pirate Nation shows up and gives back.
